Dear Upper School Families,
As we approach the end of another successful school year at Clayton-Bradley Academy, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements and growth experienced by our Upper School in 2023-24.
Firstly, I am thrilled to share that our students have excelled academically, as evidenced by the outstanding results in programs like Exploravision, National History Day, Poetry Out Loud, and The Statewide Annual Math Contest. We also continue to see our students excel in hands-on learning and project-based instruction as evidenced by the plethora of completed projects and presentations. As a final confirmation, our students continue to outperform the state and nation in standardized test data. The dedication and hard work of both students and teachers have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.
Secondly, our extracurricular programs have continued to thrive, with our sports teams, performing and visual arts student groups, clubs, and organizations bringing home numerous accolades and making their mark in various community settings. The teamwork, perseverance, and passion displayed by our students in these activities have been truly inspiring.
Thirdly, our efforts to promote cultural awareness and exploration were on display this year. Through various initiatives and programs such as the Open Doors to Explore Cultural Immersion Day, we have fostered an environment that celebrates and embraces the unique perspectives and backgrounds of our students, creating a welcoming and inclusive community for all.
Lastly, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our parents and families for their unwavering support and involvement in our school community. Your active participation in school events, volunteering efforts, and overall encouragement have played a crucial role in our students’ success.
As I reflect on my tenure at Clayton-Bradley Academy, spanning over a decade, I am filled with immense gratitude for the opportunity to witness the growth and learning of our students, as well as the partnership I have shared with you, our valued parents and families. Your trust, collaboration, and commitment to our school’s mission have been instrumental in creating an environment that nurtures real-world learning and personal growth.
As we look ahead to the next academic year, we remain committed to providing a nurturing and challenging environment that fosters critical thinking, collaboration, personal growth, and a lifelong love for learning.
Thank you for being an integral part of our Clayton-Bradley Academy family. Stay the course and finish strong as we all look forward to another remarkable year ahead.
With 1VOICE (for the final time),
