Grandparents and Special Friends Day
We can’t wait to welcome you to Clayton-Bradley Academy on September 4! Grandparents and Special Friends Day is an opportunity to step into your student’s world, experience the joy of our community, and celebrate the learning and relationships that make CBA special.
Because our school has grown, this year’s celebration will feature separate times for Lower and Upper School. Please review the schedule and arrival information below so your visit is easy and enjoyable.
Celebration Schedule
Lower School (PreK through 5th Grade)
Date: Friday, September 4, 2026
Time: 8:30–10:00 AM
Upper School (6th Grade through 12th Grade)
Date: Friday, September 4, 2026
Time: 10:30 AM – Noon
Location: Both celebrations will take place in the Clayton-Bradley Academy Family Center, 425 Alcoa Trail, Maryville, TN 37804
Visitors with children in multiple grades are welcome to attend both celebrations!
When You Arrive
Please proceed to the Family Center (pictured above and labeled on this map).
Shuttle buses and golf carts will circulate through all parking areas and around campus throughout the morning. Simply wave when you’re ready for a ride. Accessible parking will also be available, and volunteers will help direct you.
At the Family Center, we will hold a brief welcome ceremony with coffee and light refreshments. Following the ceremony, volunteers will guide you to meet your student and enjoy the remainder of the celebration.
Taking Your Student Home
If you plan to take your student home after the event ends, a parent or guardian must email written permission to the student’s Lower or Upper School office by Thursday, September 3.

An Optional Way to Celebrate Your Student
Grandparents and special friends play an important role in helping our students grow. If you would like to honor your student with a gift to CBA, we invite you to “Put Your Name on a Flame.” Each flame displayed on campus will represent someone who helps fuel joyful, innovative learning at CBA.

Your generosity fuels the innovative, joyful learning your student experiences every day. With every gift, donors may add their name or family name to a flame that will be displayed on campus. Those who give $500 or more annually are also welcomed into The 2013 Society and receive additional campus donor recognition.
